About Us

Allan founded Hilltop Walk Consulting in August 2020 after a 15 year career working in Financial Markets at HSBC and Goldman Sachs. In that time, Allan has been fortunate enough to work in a range of roles across all aspects of the business including leading Technology, Operations and Business Management teams, Electronic Trading businesses and Change programs responding to some of the biggest regulatory changes in Markets including Dodd-Frank, EMIR, Volcker and Brexit.
 
Allan has represented HSBC and Goldman Sachs externally in various initiatives. He co-ordinated HSBC’s contribution to the FX Global Code and participated in Bank of England working groups on developing the Code. Allan has served as chair of the Global FX Division’s Steering Committee and played a leading role in the formation of LCH ForexClear, the leading FX Clearing House.
 
Allan is now using his experience and understanding of Financial Markets and navigating Change to help Hilltop Walk Consulting’s clients grow their businesses.
